My nba 2k18 app11/13/2022 ![]() Unlike the console versions, you have to buy this game with he mindset of “What you start, is what you get”, cuz the only thing that changes are roster updates and small tweaks that hardly will ever affect you. Since release, the Association Mode has pretty much been the only complete feature of the game, so 2k decided to leave it alone, which means that it is still the same Association Mode of December 2017, and it’s still really good and enjoyable aside from the BS simulation. With the addition of Alltime teams being here for what’s now 4 months, many of us buyers have become disappointed that we were not able to play with our friends (I don’t have any.) This is not new, but I didn’t put this on my last review. At December, I said I only got 69k VC and was already 79 ovr, well now I’m an 87 ovr and I only spent 117k VC, and a solid 40k of that VC was on badges, and I’m only 73 games into my M圜areer, I read that you have to play 4 seasons worth to become an 85 ovr on the console versions, which is a win for the mobile versions. As long as you just play 1-2 games in your spare time, you should not feel like it’s repetitive, especially with how much VC you get, making it a fast process to fully upgrade your player. With no park or online way to play with your friends, many would wonder if M圜areer is a concern. The sad part is that they only update 10-15 players at max each roster update. Rudy Gobert: 81 ovr (Mitchell has a higher defensive rating than Gobert) Here are the ratings that HAVE to be changed (WARNING, ISSA LONG LIST): ![]() In the last roster update, 2k just dealt with injuries by putting the players in the back of the roster rotations and the game doesn’t even have an injury symbol to put to the players! So because of that, now they treat every player as healthy right now, like Cousins, Hayward and Porzingis. Yes, a huge problem of the last game still remains and somehow, because of how players have been performing and what has happened, it’s an even bigger problem now. If you want to know why I put this simple tweak in here as it’s own positive, it’s because unlike in the console versions, the mobile versions of managing rosters are a headache to deal with and I still don’t know how to revert to the original rosters without deleting the roster permanently. The rosters have been finally updated after not being touched for 4 months, which forced the users to customize the rosters, and we finally get the trade deadline deals that the mobile community has been waiting longer than the Switch community (but we finally are getting more consistent updates for the Switch).Īs you saw before, the rosters have finally been updated to fit to how it is on the bigger versions (but no Rose on the T-Wolves). I have no clue what this means, but if I were to make a guess, I guess it means that there is going to be a bigger effort in updating the rosters for the app as before this, the rosters were not updated since my review. This is very self explanatory, it’s just a visual change that makes the user not feel like the notch is blocking a part of the game.Īdded support for streaming roster updates While I haven’t seen any complaints about the game playing on the iPhone X, I’m sure many buyers have been waiting for this to happen since early December of last year. ![]() Btw if you haven’t seen the original review, I recommend you check it out over here. This review might also apply to Android users, but I don’t know. If people don’t remember, I did a review on NBA 2K18 IOS around 4 months ago, and it was taken really well and with version 1.04 being released for the game yesterday, I intend on reviewing how the app has been going, nearly 6 months into its lifetime. ![]()
